KNOCK! KNOCK!

Revelation 3:20 - "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me."

This is a poem that I wrote a while back when I first started walking with Christ. This is a poem about a man/woman whom at one point in their life they were saved and had experienced the Love of God and knew him intimately. But after some trials and tests that relationship was severed. This poem describes a conversation that God is trying to have with that person. The Poem is titled, "Knock! Knock!"

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
YOU DON'T ANSWER SO, I KNOCK SOME MORE!

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
I KNOW YOU HEAR ME, SO WHY DON'T YOU OPEN THE DOOR?

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
WHY WON'T YOU LET ME IN? YOU AND I, WE USE TO BE SUCH GOOD FRIENDS! I WAS WITH YOU IN THE BEGINNING AND I WILL BE WITH YOU IN THE END. BUT HOW CAN I BE THERE TO HELP YOU, IF YOU WON'T LET ME IN?

YOU WOULD CALL OUT TO ME, ASKING ME WHY; ASKING ME HOW WOULD YOU MAKE IT, HOW WOULD YOU SURVIVE? AND SO I TOLD YOU, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY I SHOWED YOU. BUT NOW, IT IS AS IF YOU FORGOTTEN THE THINGS THAT I HAVE OPENED YOUR HEART TO, THE WAYS IN WHICH YOU SHOULD ABIDE. WE HAD A RELATIONSHIP GROWING AND NOW YOU WON'T LET ME BACK INSIDE!

BUT THAT'S ALL RIGHT! THAT'S KOOL! THAT'S OKAY! BECAUSE I WILL KEEP KNOCKING AND KNOCKING AND EVENTUALLY YOU'LL HEAR ME AND GIVE WAY AND THEN, MAYBE THEN, YOU WILL REALIZE THAT I AM THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND ALWAYS.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
I KNOW YOU HEAR ME!

THE BIBLEMAN'S CREED

0comments
When I first came to Christ, the Lord showed me that all my life experiences can be used for a greater purpose. I did not quite understand how these things would work, but in a short time God started giving me revelations about how certain Natural life experiences can correlate to the Spiritual aspects of my life, as well as the life of other Christians.

I served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps and the mantra that every Marine must recite every night before we sleep is that of "The Rifleman's Creed." Made famous by the movie "Full Metal Jacket", "The Rifleman's Creed" is etched into our minds; it serves as a reminder of the importance of our Rifle in combat, the reality that there is an ENEMY who is trying to Kill Us and more importantly that we shall fight until Peace is the only enemy. With that said, I have converted the Mantra, "The Rifleman's Creed" into a even more powerful and important Creed which will be the Mantra that every Christian Soldier will recite as we wage war against Satan and it is called, "The Bible Man's Creed". I hope you benefit from it and please let me know what you think. To God be the Glory.

This is my Bible, there are many like it but this one is mine. My God and my Bible are my best friend, they are my life!

I must live by it as I live my life. For without me it is useless, for without my Bible, I am useless.

I will live my life true to its words; I must be stronger than my enemy who is trying to kill me! I must be prepared for his attacks on me. I will...

Our God and I know that what counts in this war is not the noise of our mouths, the Promises we make, nor a lack of faith. We know that it is living, breathing and believing his word that counts. We will...

My Bible is my life. This I will l learn it as a brother; I will learn my weaknesses, my strengths, its chapters, its verses, His Love and His Patience.

I will ever guard my mind, with the Helmet of Salvation and my Soul with the Shield of Faith, against the Powers of Satan.

My Bible, the Sword of the Spirit, will be kept clean and ready its verses memorized and written in my heart. We will become part of each other. We will...

Before God I swear this creed, my Bible and I are the defenders of our Souls, we are the masters of our enemy and Jesus Christ is the Savior of not only my life but the life of others.

So be it, until there is no Enemy but Peace.

"I WILL NOT BOW"

2comments
Recently, I was reading the Book of Daniel and was really impressed by the way God shows us how important it is not to comprise who and what we are in Christ. Read the third chapter of Daniel and you will see the true meaning of not bending or bowing to false idols and gods. Here we find Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego facing death by FIRE because they refused to bow to the false god of Babylon. Their story shall serve as a testament to what God can do with those of us who have Faith in his Divine Authority. When told to bow or face death they respond with the heart and courage of a true WARRIOR FOR CHRIST. They tell the King that if it is the will of our God that we shall LIVE, then we LIVE, but if it is the will of our God to DIE, than so we shall DIE. But KNOW this, whether we LIVE OR DIE we will not have bowed to your fake god. WOW! Can you imagine being faced with death? Think about it, really think about someone telling you that you are about to die for what you believe in. Can you imagine the Faith and Fortitude that one must have to stand up to the King of a Nation when faced with DEATH BY FIRE and to tell him to his face, "That not our will but Your will be done." To often in life we lack the courage that these men had. To often in life we sit back and compromise who we are because it may seem to be an unpopular choice at that time. To often, we as believers, fail to STAND UP for our God and boldly pronounce his name and claim his Kingdom. To often we forget all that Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross. He humbled himself and became obedient to death on the cross so that we may have life. Are you willing to deny the world and face death like these three men did? Are you willing to go against the things that destroy our morals and values as a nation. How many are willing to STAND the test of fire? How many of you know that you know that OUR GOD is, was and will be? When was the last time that you boldly stood up for Christ? When was the last time that you compromised your belief in Christ? When is the last time you shared Christ with someone?

Read the book of Daniel and ask God for wisdom and understanding. Ask God to open your eyes to see what it means to be a TRUE BELIEVER in Christ. When you accepted Christ you were separated from the world and TRANSFORMED, allow the Holy Ghost to work in you by renewing your mind. Jesus forewarned us that we will be persecuted and
James told us to welcome the trials as a testament to God making us more holy and more like Christ. The Apostle Paul told us that we shall endure hardships but Paul told us to endure them as a Soldier. Will you?
